This should be removed, I played a bunch of games, having to wait for the energy bars to regenerate after a few games. It’s now been two months since I’ve played as every time I try to play it says I have no energy bars, what, they just stopped regenerating??? NEVER had this problem with the iPhone app, just for Mac. You pay SOOO much more for an iMac and can’t get half of the apps, not to mention that every time I try to open it, I have to “retry” about 10 times for it to finally open! Not happy with it at all!

I would rate this game 5/5 if you guys would take off the energy, it’s pointless and it’s really annoying.

Good game but unable to play without spending money. Even the 5 holes per day is a lie.

the game is good. But we need to pay for energy. i used to get free energy points after some wait. now i am not getting even after waiting for a day. Very disspointed

I didnt mind having to wait an hour to earn each energy point because I usually play my five, six, or seven holes and then move on with my day, because thats all the downtime I have. So by the time I return back to the game (a day or so later), I have my energy points back to where I can play my five holes and once again move on with my day. BUT NOW - my energy points never even recharge! It stays at 0 all the time. If I download an app that advertises itself as free, than I should be able to play if for FREE. Not recharging the energy points after several days= having to pay to simply play one hole = false advertising. This game was great when the energy would recharge - even if I had to "wait." Now, its simply a rip off. Please fix this Gameloft.

Like some of the other recent reviewers, my energy points have stopped recharging. Ive used the support page at Gameloft to report the issue, but they have not responded at all after a week or so. At least in my case, my energy stopped recharging once I reached 100 stars. I wonder if theres a bug that wont let you get past 100, although Im still unable to accrue energy even after resetting my player.

Dont buy this game lots of in app purchases.

what is the deal with energy? Not a fan. Cant enjoy the game. I am uninstalling.

Need energy to play gay, you start out with 5 bars and each hole docks you 1 (except 1st hole in 1st course). after youre out of energy is refreshes at 1 bar per hour. Unsure when the last little nuisance occurred, but started the game and my energy no longer refreshes. ill need to purchase energy to play. this is not a free app! Misleading, baits the user for cash. Could be a cool game worth purchasing if the enegry refresh isnt still required.

Gameloft, please stop with the in-game payments!!!!!!!!!! Every time my character runs out of energy, I have to pay for more energy points!!!!!!! Why cant the energy be FREE? STOP IT!!!!!!! Seriously, I am FED UP with the stupid in-game-payments. This game is virtually unplayable!!!!!!!! Fix it or I will only give the game 1 star!!!!!!

I love the courses and mechanics of this game, but now Ive used up all FIVE of my points and they wont regenerate, so unless I want to pay for temporary points, I cant even play! I wish theyd just charge five bucks and let me play when I want to play. Im not paying for points that Ill just have to keep buying. Come on, Gameloft, I KNOW you can do better…Ive seen you do better.

I will say that the overall graphics are beautiful. The game is another story altogether. The swing is difficult and the game not very enjoyable at all. Plus it took an entire afternoon to download. And the worst part, when I wanted to exit the game I could not get out!!! I had to turn off my computer only to turn it back on and there was the game again! It finally did show at the bottom of my screen and I was able to turn it off. Not going to play this game again! Really dont want to pay for extra holes.

Please support my Intel GMA 965 vedio card! It can play many other games but cant play this one!

I feel manipulated. You cant even buy this game, you have to basically subscribe to it by continuously purchasing energy points. New mac user, first game I liked and by not reading all the reviews, I didnt even realize its a trial version until it quit letting me play. Very unpleased, I would highly recommend against any game or app these developers put out.

Once I realized that this was a "pay as you go" game, I quickly abandoned it. Id rather pay once and play all I want, then to keep dropping the proverbial quarter into the slot to continue playing. Not a good way to attract people to get the game.

You cant play more than a dozen holes until the game forces you to pay more money. Real actual money on top of buying the game. I wont buy another Gameloft game. This is utter bu**sh**.

I just read quite a few of the reviews and noticed that the energy level was the number one complaint, if I were the creater and developer of this game, I would read the reviews and change this feature. It seems to be pointless for me, it is an awesome game when you can play it, but when you have to wait an hour to play one hole that lasts one minute, it doesnt seem to be worth it. I also have played a little bit and drained my energy level to 0 and it wont recharge… I have 38 dollars, the special ones that buy energy… and cant buy any energy because the lowest amount is 40. I have had fun playing this game and wish that it would continue, but without charging up the energy I cant play.

you need energy points to play the game and you only get one per hour and up to five total. also for some reason my energy bar doesnt give me energy so i cant play with out paying money. gameloft just failed on this game

Very frustrating, you just get started, in fact dont even have time to get better before the game is over unless you pay $. Would be great to have a version that you can play as long as you want without freezing up and asking for money.

Although there seems to be a way around the no pay no play (reseting and keeping your money that you can then accumlate on the first hole over and over to get energy) the clock that seems to be there to reset is gone. If you had to wait for the energy to reset itself or pay this would not be a bad game. But lets get real this game is not worth more than a one time 1.99 fee. The sad part is they would probably have a much higher rating and made more money by going this route. It sad when you cant even trust the free listing in the app store.
